Caught My Eye

Just some notes on odd things that catch my eye.

Beauty, 2010-03-05

Sitting in 27D on LH3146, the drinks trolley just beside me. I look up to see a tall pregnant blonde woman, in a short grey jersey dress and boots, waiting to get past.

I try not to stare, but she is so good looking, so real, that it seems equally rude to ignore her.

Beauty is rare, we shouldn't ignore it.

What on earth can it mean? (Found on the following route:

Uplifting

Alright, much of what you will find here is rather sentimental.

While looking for a Beatles' lyric I came across this page http://donmac.org/Smilers%20Files/4.htm. Right at the end is a list of the Seven Wonders of the World. I thought that was rather neat even if it does seem most unlikely that it really happened; and even if you ignore the gratuitous god reference.
